Enginestands.com receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification
Enginestands.com has achieved ISO 9001:2015 Certification for quality management systems. The ISO 9001:2015 certification identifies criteria for quality management systems and is based on principles that include a strong customer focus, the motivation of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001 helps to ensure that customers receive consistent, high-quality products and services.
As the International Organization for Standardization states, ‘ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.’
Planning for the certification began earlier this year. Many of the initial planning sessions did not require face-to-face contact and were conducted virtually. Over a period of several weeks, the audit covered all the company’s procedures, services and products.
